 2021

Wild Fennel Theme
Theme for the Wild Fennel poster: an imaginary but possible advertisement, invented for Post, Cheap Street Poster Art Festival, Bologna, 2021.
Music by AnimaeNoctis. Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

Tasting Only Uncommon Ceilings' Highlights
Two lovers are in the same room. Silvia dictates a word: TOUCH. Massimo writes it on the ceiling. Silvia dictates again. Every letter becomes a new complete word: that’s the title itself. The motto Tasting Only Uncommon Ceilings’ Highlights reminds the observer the possibility of elevation beyond obstacles, boundaries, fear.
Directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei.
Performers: Silvia Marcantoni Taddei & Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on Vimeo.

Quiet Life Is A Pun
A visual experiment with no spoken words. Two performers working with an enourmous clock and twines in a small football field. The commonest material in the world is life and our lives are the best lab to foster.
Directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Performers: Silvia Marcantoni Taddei and Massimo Sannelli.
Music: AnimaeNoctis.
Screened in JOKERJOKERtv eps 063.
Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

The Coolest Digest Of Locked Editing
The real digest of a real editing: it contains narrative elements (like a real documentary) to introduce the videoart element (the screened editing itself). The director/editor herself edits several takes made before 2020 Italian lockdown and new items from her locked life.
Directed, edited and experienced by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. The absent performer: Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

Medusa hace todo
This Medusa is a Caravaggist performer with a crown of corrugated pipes. There is the imperious voice of the director and Medusa does everything. Just a minute to learn, just a minute to forget.
Directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei.
Performer: Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on Vimeo.

The Warmest Digest Of Ephemeral Freedom
A montage of several performances about freedom & escaping, from the point of view of humans & other animals. Freedom is ephemeral and its reconquering is eternal: be you a fish or a human being. It depends on your body and the conditions you are involved into.
By Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Performers: Silvia Marcantoni Taddei & Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

Lightness Light Nest
Lightness + Light + Nest... in any case these are the foundations of a sustainable architecture, and of a sustainable structure too. The artwork is as stable as flexible, as various as united: it's not an allegory, but the miniature of a balanced environment. The wide variety of the collection of stones in a cup that's been evidently reconstructed is the miniature of a cohabitation of experiences. Video on YouTube Vimeo.

Liquid Lyrical Liberty
A short documentary about a man called Queen. S/He enjoys her/his solitude, s/he works in a garden, s/he dances as if this public garden were a playground. S/He talks about her/his nonbinary attitude, and the final dance (a remixed Boléro inspired by Ida Rubinštejn 1921 dance) is a gentle act of anarchy.
Written, directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei.
The Queen: Massimo Sannelli. Music: Maurice Ravel, Boléro (Orchestre Lamoureux, 1930), remixed by AnimaeNoctis.
Video on Vimeo.

Cozy Cabin Cabaret
A concept for the video, a video for the concept. Cozy Cabin Cabaret is an artwork about an artwork. The very artwork is the video itself, while the cabin is a momentary object (one of the infinite possibilities of recycle in an urban context). Witnessed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Music: AnimaeNoctis.
Selected for the Venice Architecture Film Festival, Venice, Sepember 1-5 2021.
Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

Jnterview
A real (video) interview. Silvia wants Massimo to answer to her questions and to pay attention to the dramatic event of his double transition, as a Jewish and nonbinary person. Written, directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Performer: Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

The AnimaeNoctis version of Hasta Siempre, by Carlos Puebla. A deconstructing, impromptu-like, dionysian cut-up.
Written, directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Video on YouTube and Vimeo.

Observation affects reality
If you are part of something and want to document it you're not completely free. You are also obliged to mix two different tasks: helping and documenting, and your own presence interferes with the reality of the person you're acting with.
Performers: Silvia Marcantoni Taddei & Massimo Sannelli. Music: AnimaeNoctis. Video on Vimeo.

A non-stop motion through Massimo Sannelli's nonbinary art items. Written, directed and edited by Silvia Marcantoni Taddei. Music: AnimaeNoctisVideo On YouTube and Vimeo.
